2012 Clinton Haunted Murder at Milligin's Mansion

Clinton NJ haunted mill

During afternoon tea
There’s a change in the air
A spine tingling chill
That tells you she’s  there

There are many who believe
The whole town is cursed
But the mansion by the river
Is by far the worst

What she wants is revenge
So she always comes back
She is there in the shadows
The Lady in Black

She was there, she is always there.  Whenever you see her roaming the grounds, someone dies.  Her family was killed and she seeks revenge …. now we must die instead.  She will never forgive and she will never forget. She seeks her revenge, one victim at a time, until everyone who comes near feels the pain and sadness that she felt that horrible day many years ago.

On the day of her son’s seventh birthday Amelia lost her family in a horrific accident.  As the party preparations began, the family stepped away from the house to enjoy some time on the water.   Standing at the river’s edge, Amelia watched in disbelief as her family was brutally swept up and over the falls.  She cried out for help but nobody came.  People stood by and watched in horror as their lifeless bodies were thrown about, bones broken and disfigured before washing up on the rocky bank miles downstream.   Amelia had them buried on the grounds so they would always be close to her.

Unable to cope with the loss of her family, Amelia mourned for almost 2 years before dying from what doctors called a broken heart, but not before swearing her revenge on the town who stood by unwilling to help her.  She is now buried there, alongside her family.

Years later the estate, unchanged by time, was sold to the Milligin family.  It seemed like the perfect home for the family of 5, but as they moved in, strange events starting happening to all those who dared to set foot on the estate.  Over the years, many townspeople have died as Amelia continues to lurk among the shadows.
One thing was always the same… she was there, she is always there, whenever you see her roaming the grounds, someone dies.

Come if you dare, enter the hallow halls of the Milligin estate.  Experience the fear, and come face to face with Amelia, the menacing specter of darkness who haunts the town.  She is the mistress of the mansion, she is the lady in black.
